What is Studienkolleg in Germany? It is a preparatory course designed for international students who want to pursue higher education in Germany.

It also prepares you for skills and qualifications that can help you gain admission to German universities.

This course ensures that you make the transition from the existing educational qualifications of international students to the German Abitur (high school diploma). 

Studienkolleg is a prerequisite for the admission of the vast majority of international students lacking a German Abitur to a German university.

With Studienkolleg you will be able to enrol in a final exam called the Feststellungsprüfung (FSP) that will qualify them to study for a degree in a German university.
